In 2019, Majestic Wine launched a radical new way to discover the wines you’ll love, including new-look signage and branding, with fully-shelved units, colour-coded in-store navigation and simplified price tickets.
At the heart of the new store concepts was ‘Wine Fitting’ where customers blind taste eight wines. Each wine has a unique style, and the store is laid out in eight colours for each style, with ‘tasting pods’ in each section to discover further.
Customers who have taken a ‘Wine Fitting’ and received their unique profile via the bespoke app, are then sent personal wine recommendations and targeted offers.
Wine Fittings were rolled out across the entire estate, and also featured at pop-up tasting events in Debenhams stores and at Twickenham stadium.
